Day 4 - Prayer & Fasting: CONVICTION OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

2 Corinthians 5:21

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

Romans 1:17

“For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’”

Romans 8:1

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.”

1 John 3:7

“Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.”

Hebrews 4:16

“Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

1. Thank God for the gift of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ. Pray that everyone who comes to Christ, will fully understand that they are justified by faith and clothed in His righteousness, not their own and will be guided to walk in it, daily.

2. Some people are still struggling with condemnation even after giving their lives to the Lord. Pray that such will be convicted of righteousness and start to live free from guilt and shame.

3. He who practices righteousness is righteous. Pray that we will not be deceived but will determine to practice righteousness. Pray that God will grant us the grace to live a life that reflects God’s righteousness in our thoughts, words, and actions as we imitate Christ.

4. Thank God for granting us boldness to approach His throne of grace, knowing we stand righteous before Him. Pray that those that come to the Lord will quickly learn this truth and take advantage of it.

5. Needy times also come in our efforts to have a harvest of good life. Pray that as we boldly approach the throne of grace, we will experience grace and mercy in all our ambitions and plans for 2025.
