1 Timothy 2:1-2

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.

James 1:5

If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.

1. Pray that the President will have a clear direction from God on what Malawi needs to do. Pray for wisdom in all the decisions that will be made.
2. Pray that the Cabinet will be able to give the President the necessary support and that each minister will understand their role in handling the tragedy.
3. Pray for all leaders in Malawi that they will ably guide their constituents to live peaceable lives in all holiness, in this time of mourning. Pray against confusion and chaos.

Thank God for all the leaders that understand our need for God and pray that they will not allow Malawi to be led astray in this time of tragedy.
