Thanksgiving
a) Thanksgiving:
Psalm 28:7 "The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him."
1. Worship the Lord who is our strength and our shield. Thank him for he alone is trustworthy
2. Worship the Lord for his help thus far.
3. Thank the Lord for the powerful Sunday service we had
b) Sunday Service The mighty have fallen 2nd Samuel 1, 1st Samuel 31
• Pray for the nation of Malawi as we lay to rest the Rt Honorable Vice President Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima today; Pray for the spirit of comfort and hope to rest upon all Malawians
• Pray that as a nation, we will honor and protect the dignity of the fallen. Pray that we will celebrate the legacy of those who have passed and learn from their lives.
• Pray that during this period, we will be united as a nation. Pray against lying tongues, hearsays and malice. Pray that the Lord will fill all hearts with his peace.
• Pray for the peace of God to reign over the nation; pray against any violence, road and any plots of wickedness.
• Pray against road accidents as people travel to attend the funeral.
• Pray for the families of those who have lost their loved ones; pray that the Lord will comfort them and give them peace beyond human understanding.
