Praying for Sunday Services
- Pray and sanctify the sanctuary with the blood of Jesus. Pray against forces that seek to disturb worship.
- Pray that people will worship God with undistracted hearts.
- Pray for the worship leader and team. Pray for the anointing to usher people in to the presence of God.
- Pray for everyone taking part in the church to be filled with the spirit of God as they serve (convenor, ushers, media team and protocol)
- Pray for the Pastor as he prepares for the message and to preach the word with boldness. Pray that the Lord will use him mightily during the service.
- Pray for the grace to receive the word of God and rejoice in it. Pray that people will be convicted of their sins and Christ’s sufficiency so that sinners and back sliders will be converted, the weak strengthened, and Christ’s body built up.
- Pray that every sick and oppressed person who comes to the service will be ministered unto.
