John 1:5

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

1. Light will always shine in darkness. Pray that wherever we sense darkness, we will make sure our light finds its way there. Pray that this will become our preoccupation; we will understand the need for our light to shine in all such places.
2. Pray that the definition of darkness will be clear to all our members so that we do not condone darkness at any point in our lives. Darkness may mean ignorance, error, sin or unbelief.
3. Darkness has never overcome light. Pray for the spirit of resilience that should push us forward in our determination to fight darkness because it can never overcome our light. Pray that those who were giving up the fight will be encouraged to rise up again and resume their fight.
4. Pray for all those that have been fighting against the darkness of corruption, that their strength and determination will be revived and they will shine forth their light again. Darkness has never won!!!
