Day 2- Fasting and Prayer
2 Corinthians 4:3-6
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
- When people don’t believe the god of this world blinds their minds so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ. Pray that there shall be a release of every blinded mind in Lilongwe City so they will see the light of the Gospel.
- Pray that our members will preach clear messages that people will understand so that they are able to believe the Gospel. Pray that we will not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord.
- It is God who shines in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God. Pray that we will not hinder God from shining in our hearts but we will align ourselves fully to His purposes so that He is able to give light through us.
- We have a lot of people in this city, who are morally good but do not believe in the saving power of Christ. Pray that the Spirit of God will convict all these morally good people and show them they need a savior. Mention any that you know.
