Acts 13:47-48

For so the Lord has commanded us, saying, “I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.” And when the Gentiles heard this, they began rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord, and as many as were appointed to eternal life believed. 

1. There are people in the City who do not know the Lord and do not even realize God has plans for them. Pray that Lilongwe City residents will know that there is a God who cares and has appointed them to eternal life.
2. God has already made us light and commanded us to bring salvation to Lilongwe City. Pray that we will not take this commandment casually. Pray that God will forgive us for allowing some people of Lilongwe City to die before they received the word of salvation.
3. God wants this salvation to get to the ends of the earth. Pray that the people who will get saved in Lilongwe City, will be able to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
4. This city has people that are ready to receive the word of salvation and will rejoice greatly if accorded that opportunity. Pray that God will lead us to such people and that we will not miss the timing because of procrastination.
5. Thank God for the people who will be able to believe the word that will be shared with them. Pray that those that come to the Lord will determine to stay in His presence forever.
