Prayer

• Thank God for the Truth that sets every believer free, can be accessed by all disciples and is available for our sanctification.
• Pray repenting that believers have become tinkling cymbals for being hearers only and not doers of the Word of God. Pray declaring that ICA/ believers shall live by the Word of God and not be hearers only deceiving themselves. Jesus Christ “began both to do and teach”.
• Repent that as believers we have been hypocritical for being men-pleasers instead of being God centred. We have disobeyed His Word and ignored the direction of God in His Word. Pray that we turn to God so that times of refreshing will descend from the throne of God. May the Lord revive us again!
• The disciples realized that their hearts did burn while Jesus talked to them “by the way and while he opened to them the scriptures.”  Pray that ICA/believers will have a life changing encounter with God as they listen to God’s voice in meditation and each time they study the Word of God. Pray that our hearts as believers will burn with the truth and be filled with divine promises from the double-edged Sword of the Spirit.
• Jesus Christ prayed to the Father that His disciples be sanctified through the truth of the Word of the Father. Pray that ICA/believers shall be sanctified by the Word of God, to walk pleasing to the Lord, overcome temptation, abide in love and to bear the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Pray that the fruit of the spirit; love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance will be evident in us as we stay and abide in the Word of God.

Declaration:

• We declare that ICA/believers shall thirst after righteousness.
• We declare that the Word of God shall be the lamp of our feet.
• We declare that we shall recognize the Word of God as the sword of the Spirit and that we shall love, pant and hunger after it.
• We declare that the Word of God shall be our life and source of direction.
