Guiding Principle: Jesus taught disciples to rely on the Spirit, not human strength

“Tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.”

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…”

Prayer

• Thank God that the Holy Spirit has been promised to all disciples and that His work of transformation can be experienced by all.
• Jesus Christ promised that He would pray to the Father to give the disciples another Comforter that He may abide with them forever. Pray that God the Father grants that we, the disciples at ICA desire the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth to dwell in us, to comfort us, assure God’s presence and lead us.
• Jesus Christ instructed the disciples to tarry in the city of Jerusalem until they are endued by the power from on High. Pray that everyone who receives Christ at ICA will wait upon the Lord in obedience and faith and long after the outpouring until they are covered by the power of the Holy Spirit. Pray that they will be endued by the Spirit and be able to speak with other tongues, for their edification, as the Spirit giveth them utterance.
• Jesus Christ assured the disciples that they would receive power of the Holy Spirit to witness. Pray that Holy Spirit filled disciples at ICA shall be moved to fulfil the great commission by witnessing Christ wherever they are and extending to the uttermost parts of the World. Pray that their testimonies shall be accompanied by the conviction of the Holy Spirit bringing salvation, healing and deliverance.

Declaration:

• We declare that we believers at ICA shall be distinct and extraordinary witnesses of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
• We declare that none of us will ever depend on human strength regardless of how promising it may look, but will totally depend on the Holy Spirit.
