Prayer

  • Thank God that we have been called to be Jesus’ disciples. The servant is not greater than the Lord/his master. “If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you” (Jesus Christ said). Pray that all disciples will understand that Jesus Christ is the forerunner of our faith and that despite the hatred and rejection He faced on earth, He endured the cross, and God thence exalted Him and now sits at the right hand of the Father.
  • Pray that as disciples at ICA we will despise shame, stand steadfast in our faith in Christ and remain confident of our salvation knowing that God is always with us and will not bring us into temptation beyond what we can bear. Pray that we will know that we will be able to do all things through Christ who gives us the power.
  • Jesus Christ said that the disciples would face persecution, opposition and rejection because of His name. Pray that we, disciples/ICA members shall be enlightened by the Word of God to love and pray for those that persecute us that they may be saved. Pray that those facing opposition, rejection and persecution shall grow strong in their faith as God intervenes in responding to their needs. Pray that the Gospel will spread further even in their challenges.
  • Jesus Christ assured the disciples that “he that endures to the end shall be saved”. Pray that the disciples of Christ/ICA shall learn from Christ who endured shame till the death on the cross whom also God raised from the dead on the third day. Pray that no disciple shall be lost to persecution, rejection, shame or opposition but that we will endure to the end having our eyes focused on the Cross.

Declaration:

  • We declare that there shall be no hair of the head of the disciples of Christ that shall perish due to rejection, opposition or persecution.
  • We declare God’s divine providence over every disciple that is facing such test of their faith.
  • We declare that those facing such tests will recognize the presence of God and His ability to lead them through.
  • We declare breakthroughs for those facing shame, accusations, embarrassment and rejection in various ways. May God arise; for nothing is too hard for the Lord!
