And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.

Prayer

• Thank God for giving us clear direction on our responsibilities as His children - we are fishers of men; and for assuring us He is ever-present to the end of the age. Ask God to forgive us for our inability to faithfully carry out that responsibility – to make disciples of all nations.
• Thank God that all authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Christ. Pray that every disciple at ICA will go in this authority understanding that the guarantee for success lies in that name. Pray for protection from discouragement, distractions, and spiritual attacks in the mission field.
• Pray that our hearts will be fully surrendered to God’s will and that we will have a deep hunger for His Word and a passion for the Great Commission. Pray that we will be willing to learn cross-cultural communication, evangelism, and discipleship. Ask God to break down barriers of culture, language, or background.
• Pray that every ICA believer will clearly understand our need to be trained as disciples to ably play our role in God’s mission of making disciples of all nations. Pray that we will understand that we are not saved for ourselves but for the salvation of nations.
• Pray that God will grant every disciple at ICA discernment in identifying their unique gifts and areas of service in the body of Christ, so that the mission of God is accomplished. Pray for wisdom, patience, and Spirit-led teaching so that every disciple is inspired, equipped, and transformed.

Declaration:

• We declare that ICA disciples will be shaped with a clear outward mission and will be deliberate about doing it the Jesus’ way.
• We declare that our resources will be channeled towards the development of this caliber of disciples.
