Free Indeed
Key verses: John 8:32-36
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery, Galatians 5:1
Key thought: The power of the resurrection gives us victory over sin and also the freedom to do the will of God.
Satan doesn’t want is for people to have a true relationship with this God.
How Satan deceives people?
a. The deception of religious heritage
They had been believed in a Messiah coming but stumbled the humble estate and teachings of Jesus.
b. Deception of false freedom
Sin puts people in chains – the most ruthless form of slavery is not even knowing that you are a slave.
What we find in Christ
1. Access to the truth that brings freedom
When we believe in God and put our faith in Him, we position ourselves to encounter the truth.
When we abide in his word we are set free!! John 8:36 so if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed!!

Believe and abide in His word
Prayer points
Pray that we will continue to abide in the word and encounter true freedom that comes through Christ alone.
Pray for the courage to love the word of God and abide in it.
Pray that the truth will set us free indeed
Pray that those that are trapped in the deception of religious heritage will have an encounter with power of the Lord Jesus.
Pray that the eyes of people that are not saved but are in church should be opened so that they can be set free.
May God set free for those under the illusion of false freedom, they might be in church but enslaved by sin, the truth sets free.
Pray for the breaking of addictions and sinful habits that enslave people.
