Praying for Protection

Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.Luke 10:19 ESV

He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”2 Kings 6:16 ESV

For he will hide me in his shelter in the day of trouble; he will conceal me under the cover of his tent; he will lift me high upon a rock.Psalm 27:5 ESV

The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.Zephaniah 3:17 ESV

We appreciate that ICA is growing at a fast rate. Thank God that He is at the centre of it all

1. Pray that everyone who comes to ICA in any of the services will have the right motives for coming. Pray that those with evil motives will not succeed in their agendas but will end up being delivered

2. Pray for protection and safety for our pastors, praise teams and everyone who will ascend the pulpit to minister. Pray that all these categories of ministers will be covered with the blood of Jesus and that there will always be a hedge of protection around them in the name of Jesus

3. Pray for safety and protection for all the people that come to ICA:

a) that we will always be covered with the blood of Jesus

b) that the holy angels will always go before us as we go out and come in at church and our homes.

c) Pray, binding evil spirits that distract the people from receiving the word and retaining it and sometimes make them fall asleep.

d) Pray that the atmosphere in the youth auditorium and surroundings will always be charged with the presence of God so that no evil will be able to prevail

4.Pray that ICA members will be diligent and wise enough to put on the whole armour of God such that the devil and his cohorts will not be able to find room to penetrate their lives

Praying for the State President

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. 1 Timothy 2:1‭-‬2 ESV‬

Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” Genesis 28:15 ESV

The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7 ESV

No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you. Joshua 1:5 ESV

The Bible urges us to pray for our leaders so that we can live peaceful and godly lives

1. Pray that as God has promised in his word, he will be with the President and will keep him safe in all the places he will go. Pray and declare that God will be faithful to him until he has done all that he called him for.

2. Pray that the angel of the Lord will encamp around him and the First Lady and always deliver them from evil targeted against them. Pray that they will be preserved from all evil. Pray that the Lord will always preserve their going out and coming in

3. Pray that God will continually give him wisdom to promote truth and justice among the people and to shun evil and misguided advice. Pray that he will not be among those who trust in their strength and reasoning but that his trust will be in God
