John 4:35

35 Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.

1 Corinthians 3:7

7 So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.

1. The world is ready to receive the word of God, though at times it may appear otherwise. Pray that we will learn to discern the harvest. Pray that we will not miss the timeframe, we will not procrastinate, we will not come in too early.

2. Thank God for the power found in the light of the Gospel. It is so powerful that the devil does not want unbelievers to see it. Bind the spirit of blindness and deception that keeps people from seeing the truth of the Gospel.

3. It is only God who is able to open people’s hearts to the Gospel. Pray that God will prepare the hearts of the lost, to be receptive to His Word; Break down barriers of unbelief and hardness; Remove stony hearts in exchange for hearts of flesh that are sensitive to His Spirit.

4. The Lord brings a dimension to the harvest we cannot control. Thank God that He determines the increase or size of the harvest. Pray that we will give God the space He needs to give us the increase He has destined ICA for.
