Praying for Israel
- At least 12,000 Jews recognize Jesus as their Messiah just within Israel and are now an undeniable part of Israeli society, but growth also brings persecution. Pray for boldness in witness, and perseverance in faith despite the opposition.
- The Christian Church in Israel is segmented. It is comprised of about 80% Arabs, 12% expatriates (Egyptian, Ethiopian, Greek, Russian, Armenian, Italian, others) and 8% Jews. Pray for spiritual unity in Israeli Church.
- Unity between Christian Jews and Arab Christians is growing. Jewish and Arab believers cooperate in ministry through the National Evangelism Committee. However other groups are opposed to such a development. Pray that there might be grace among all who call upon Jesus, support and bear with one another.
