Day 18- Fasting and Prayer
Romans 13:11-14
Do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for you to awaken from sleep; for now, salvation is nearer to us than when we believed. The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore, let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy. But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.
- Those who walk in light understand what time it is; night is gone. Pray that we will have that consciousness at ICA, that the day is near so we cannot continue sleeping. Pray that in every area where we have been sleeping, there will be a drive to wake up.
- Pray that discipleship will be prioritized by every member of ICA, so that those that are sleeping will have someone to wake them up. Pray that we will see the rise of prayer partners and Bible reading challenges.
- We are called to lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Pray that as a church we will be able to provide an environment that will be conducive for members to help one another laying aside deeds of darkness and putting on the armor of light.
- In the church we have members that do not behave properly as in the day. Pray that we will commit ourselves to teaching members how to put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and how to make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts.
