The Call to Refresh Others
- Hospitality is anchored by the grace of love from our hearts. Pray that the Holy Spirit nurtures and stirs up an attitude of love in our hearts. Pray that we will learn to not act in selfish ambition or conceit but in humility to count others more significant than ourselves.
- Generosity is a willingness to give out, though could be quite costly. Generosity is giving far and beyond the expected. Pray for the spirit of willingness to be cultivated in us as believers. Pray for deliberate intent to express hospitality.
- “Show hospitality to one another without grumbling” Pray against the spirit of complaining, whining, and grumbling. Pray against common worldly excuses; I am too busy with work, I am inadequate to do this, my character is not suited for entertaining others or my privacy important.
- Pray that the Lord opens our eyes to recognize the needs of our family members, friends and others around us.
- Pray for the increased sensitivity to opportunities to Biblically hospitality.
- Pray that the members of the Church will recognize and answer to the call of sacrificing their resources in order to advance the Kingdom of Heaven by pouring into the several activities of the Church.
