Worship and thanksgiving: Psalm 118:1-10 (KJV)

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endured forever. Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth forever. Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth forever. Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth forever. I called upon the Lord in distress: The Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore, shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes. All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.

Thank God for his never-ending mercies and goodness. 

Worship the redeemer and lifter of souls in times of distress 

Worship the Lord who is trust worthy

Thank the Lord for the powerful Sunday service. (Thank the Lord for using our pastor so mightily to preach with boldness and power). Thank God for all who took part in the service, convener, praise team and the protocol team.

Prayer Points

Leviticus 6:12-13, Leviticus 10:1-2, John 4:22-24, Romans 12:1, 11

1. Pray for the fresh pouring of the holy spirit on all ICA members. Pray that we will experience and walk in the spiritual giftings.
2. Pray that members will be committed to having new encounters with God. Pray that ICA members will intentionally seek after God and his presence
3. Pray that ICA members will live a holy life. Pray that we will present ourselves blameless before the Lord by being a sacrifice that has no blemish (sin)
4. Pray that ICA members will watch diligently over their lives and keep away vultures that destroy sacrifices. Pray for those waiting on God that they will not get weary but keep trusting God and- seeking him only.
5. Pray that we will not quench the fire of the spirit.
6. Pray that ICA will be church dedicated to prayer. Pray for a revival in our prayer lives. Pray that members will pray in spirit and in truth
7. Pray for those who have backslidden, or at the verge of giving up that the Lord will revive their prayer life.
8. Thank God for the people who have committed to be intercessors. Pray that the Lord will set ablaze the spirit of prayer upon them.
9. Pray for our brothers and sisters who have lost loved ones for God divine comfort (Dr Nankhumwa, The changwamniras, Mrs Sosola)
