Prayer of thanksgiving: for ICA Sunday Services

1. Pray thanking God for the opportunity to gather, hear the Word of God and fellowship on Sunday

2. Pray thanking the Lord for the coordinated ministration by all units and servants involved in all services that facilitated the divine presence and an atmosphere of Worship.

3. Thank God for our Pastors and the preaching of the Word of God that came with power, clarity, assurance and conviction to transformation. Thank God for those that received the Word during the service (in church and online/by radio/TV) and have been challenged to raise future generations in the fear of the Lord

Sermon-based prayer points

1. Pray that as believers and the Church (ICA), we will be faithful in discipleship and the raising of future generations; Pray that we will seek to hear God’s truth and passionately be able to entrust the same to future generations.

2 Timothy 2:2 (KJV) “And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.”

2. Pray that as a church ICA, we will have spiritual strength, focus, and endurance in serving God. Pray that we will be empowered by the Holy Ghost to persevere hardship with our eyes focussed on the crown.

2 Timothy 2:3-4 (KJV) “Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”

3. Pray that as a church and every member (ICA) we will see ourselves in the line of duty of a teacher, athlete, farmer and a soldier exercising patience and achieving excellence by following the rules and God’s Word. Pray that ICA and all members shall exercise discipline, integrity, and obedience to our master, Jesus Christ our Lord.;

2 Timothy 2:5 (KJV)

“And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.”

4. Pray that although we can’t stop the arrival of tomorrow, ICA should influence what happens tomorrow. Pray that ICA members will have impact on generations to come by being deliberate and sow Godly seed in the tomorrow. Pray that we will be intentional in achieving fruitful labor and lasting impact on future generations. Pray that we do not become discouraged when results seem slow or are forced by circumstances to retreat.

Galatians 6:9 (KJV) “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
