PRAYING FOR THE SWAHILI COMMUNITY
The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.” Psalm 115:14 (KJV)
“And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” Acts 2:46–47 (KJV)
“The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.” Deuteronomy 28:12 (KJV)
Prayers:
1. Pray for growth in numbers -that the Lord will add unto the Kiswahili service
2. Pray that there will be spiritual growth among all Kiswahili members
3. Pray for people in Kiswahili to accept/be regular in attending homecells just like they are regular in Kiswahili service participation
4. Pray that Kiswahili home cell planned goals and projects will be fulfilled and fully achieved
5. Give the different nationalities, cultures and traditions involved in the church, pray against the fear of uniting and mingling together in homecells and other activity areas that Kiswahili members need to participate.
6. Many members in Kiswahili are business people. Pray that God will intervene in cases like forex access and control. Sales are very low compared to previous years- Pray that their businesses will thrive despite the turbulent economic environment they are operating in.
7. Pray that the Kiswahili businesses will not be affected despite the middle east war. God is able to preserve his people and so should these businesses be protected in Jesus Name.
8. Pray for the children’s church in Kiswahili service that God will continue to manifest His presence.
