Activity: College outreaches by Contemporary Church on 17 October

The youth in Malawi constitute about 50% of the population. They represent a significant group to move things in the country and beyond. Let us pray for a mighty God’s revival among this group.

1. The youth are vulnerable to peer pressure, hence can easily succumb to bad influencers. Let’s pray that our youth will not fall prey to bad influencers.

Psalm 1:1 - Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers.

 Let’s pray that our youth will not be influenced by bad role models.

2. There is a lot of abuse going on in the colleges (drugs, sexual misconduct, etc).

 Pray that the youth will resist such temptations.

James 4:7 - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

 Pray that more youth will submit themselves to God during the college outreach campaigns.

 Pray for those dealing with drug addiction to open up for help so that they can be free.

Psalm 124:7 - We have escaped like a bird from the snare of the fowlers; the snare is broken, and we have escaped!

3. Pray that more members from the Contemporary church will patronize the outreaches.

 Isaiah 52:7 - How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

4. Lasting impact of the message shared.

Matthew 13:8 - Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.

 Pray that the seed that will be sown will fall on good ground.
