Enlarge the place of your tent and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out; do not hold back; lengthen your cords and strengthen your stakes. Isaiah 54:2

1. Thank God for Rev. Gideon Phiri and his family for their obedience in answering God’s call to serve in Eswatini. Praise Him for His grace, provision, and the progress they have made so far in their ministry.

2. Pray for God’s presence, protection and provision. Pray for God’s provision, protection, and guidance over his family. Declare that there will be no lack in their household and that God will meet every need in every area of their lives.

3. Pray for more open doors for ministry. Pray that God will enlarge his ministry territory, opening doors for growth, greater impact, and fruitful outreach in Eswatini and beyond.

4. Pray for grace and favour upon the children as they attend school. Pray with the Phiris for wisdom and strength for Tatenda as she is away in college at UNIMA. Pray for Mary who is applying for placement in college - may a door open to the college of her desire in Jesus Christ.

5. Pray for demonic strongholds to be broken in their area of ministry in the name of Jesus Christ. Ask God to grant them influence so that the Word of God that is sharper than any double-edged sword, will penetrate beyond the barriers of the traditions and cultures of Eswatini. Pray that hearts will be open to receive the gospel and that lives will be changed through their ministry in Jesus Christ.

6. Pray for grace upon their parents and family members. Distance is a challenge and they are unable to visit parents. Pray for the availability of relevant resources and that God will provide all their needs according to the riches in His Grace.

7. Ask the Lord to grant them strength to overcome every challenge, knowing that through Christ, all things are possible.

Pray for ICA Missions:

“Do you not say, ‘There are still four months until the harvest’? I tell you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are ripe for harvest.” – John 4:35

Lift up the people of Malawi, that their hearts may be open to the Gospel, and that 2025 will bring a great spiritual harvest, with many coming to Christ and being discipled into mature believers.
