The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed. Luke 4:18

1. Thank God for Reverend Milward Mwamvani and his family for choosing to obey God and serve in Sweden. Thank God for His grace that has brought him and his family this far in their missionary work.

2. Open doors for ministry: Thank God for opportunities to minister, which they have currently. Pray for more openings in diverse contexts. In a cultural setting that considers itself "post Christian," they need opportunities for ministry that are creative and spirit-led.

3. Children: Bringing up children in the context can be a challenge where strong secular values and perspectives are promoted. Pray that they will have the guidance of the Holy Spirit and God's wisdom in making decisions and for each of the children to have daily personal experiences with the Lord. Pray specifically for their daughter who is writing final high school exams beginning on 28th April 2025 until 16th May 2025 that she will not be stressed about it but be covered by the blood of the Lord, attain courage and boldness to excel trusting in the Lord who gives wisdom and excellence.

4. The global financial situation, including a steep rise in the cost of living, affect their lives when there are both needs and expectations to be met. Pray for grace to navigate through all this in Jesus Name.

5. Physical Health – Mrs Maggie Mwamvani has been struggling with her health for a while, and gets frustrated that she seems to not make positive progress. Pray for restoration and stability of her health.

6. Psychological Health - Pray for God’s intervention, especially for the children, who have seemed to face some psychological attacks. Pray that they are covered by the blood of Jesus Christ and that there will be no harm on them.

7. Spiritual Protection - Pray that the Mwamvanis will not be dismayed by the battles that they are in and the attacks that come in subtle ways. Pray that they will trust God and His divine providence. Pray that the Lord who is Mighty in battle will fight for them, safeguard their hearts and be their strong tower. Pray that they will have boldness and courage in the God who has promised never to leave them alone. Pray that they will experience the presence of God who will appear to them in various ways where no ear has heard nor eye seen what the Lord has prepared to those that love Him.

Pray for Mission Expansion – Ask God to open doors for new mission opportunities in 2025, providing the right people, resources, and strategies to reach more communities with the message of Christ. Pray in a special way for doors for a great harvest in Lilongwe City.
