Attitudes of Great Harvesters Part 5: Observing Life Markings
But the LORD God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?” 10 And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.” 11 He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” 12 The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” 13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” Genesis 3:9-13
But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20:24
Gen 3:1-14: Acts 20:24
1. Praise our Mighty and Everlasting God, whose glory fills the heavens and whose love never fails. Thank Him for His provision, protection, and the powerful messages we receive each Sunday that strengthen and guide us. Let us rejoice in His faithfulness and lift our voices in praise, for He alone is worthy of all honor and thanksgiving!
2. Pray that as ICA members we will develop a strong conviction to live accountable lives before God, recognizing that He has set personal life markings and boundaries for each person.
3. Ask God to help us as ICA members to establish His Word as the final standard in our lives, submitting to His principles, commands, and direction in all things.
4. Pray for the establishment of accountability circles within ICA—relationships that encourage rebuke, correction, encouragement, and growth in faith.
5. Pray for ICA members who have erred and are struggling with blame-shifting, excuses, and failure to own their mistakes. Pray for a spirit of humility, repentance, and restoration.
6. Pray that as ICA members we will discern God’s personal markings for our lives and have the wisdom and courage to stay within God’s will, avoiding distractions and deceptive alternatives.
