At this, the administrators and the satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs, but they were unable to do so. They could find no corruption in him, because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. (Daniel 6:3-4)

1. Prayer for Economic Development and Forex Generation: Pray that Malawi’s economy will experience acceleration in production and exports while reducing donor dependence and unnecessary imports. Ask God to bless manufacturing across all sectors, including mining, so that Malawi can generate forex through value addition instead of exporting raw materials. Pray for wisdom and bold strategies to eliminate illegal mining and the forex black market, ensuring that national wealth benefits all citizens.

2. Prayer for a Shift in Mindset and National Patriotism: Pray that Malawians will embrace patriotism and a positive mindset, rejecting negativity and destructive tendencies such as vandalism, corruption, and greed. Ask God to instil a love for the nation in every citizen, so that people act with integrity, responsibility, and dedication toward national progress.

3. Prayer for National Integrity, Love, and Ethical Leadership: Pray against the spirit of corruption, fraud, and selfishness that drains national resources. Ask God to raise up leaders and citizens who are driven by integrity, love, and a commitment to serving the nation selflessly. Pray that those in authority will use their positions to benefit the country rather than for personal gain. Ask for an upright spirit to take root in Malawi, where honesty, fairness, and accountability become the standard.

4. Prayer Against Hatred Towards the Upright and for a Culture of Excellence: Pray that those who stand for righteousness and excellence will be honoured and not hated. Ask God to restore professionalism in all sectors, ensuring that professionals lead with excellence rather than using their positions for personal gain. Pray for a renewed hunger for integrity, uprightness, and a passion for excellence among Malawians.

5. Prayer Against the Spirit of Self-Cursing and Negativity: Pray that Malawians will stop undermining their God-given blessings through negative speech and self-destructive attitudes. Pull down and uproot the spirit of self-cursing; plant and establish positivity, faith, gratitude, and a determination to develop Malawi. Declare that Malawians will take responsibility for their nation and work together for its prosperity.

6. Prayer Against Cartels and Unfair Business Practices: Pray that business cartels in Malawi, which only benefit a few individuals at the expense of the nation, will be exposed and dismantled. Ask God to bring transparency and fairness to business practices so that economic opportunities are available to all Malawians.

7. Prayer for Fair Pricing and Market Justice for Farmers: Pray that the exploitation of farmers through unfair pricing will come to an end. Ask God to bring a balance in the market so that farmers receive fair compensation for their hard work. Pray that policies and systems will be put in place to ensure that farmers are not treated as slaves to buyers but are empowered and rewarded for their labour.
