1. Thank God for the rains that the country has received. Pray that the rains will be adequate to enable us get good yields. Mangochi is already experiencing floods. Pray against any destructions.

2. Voter registration will resume in January 2025. Pray that everyone that needs to register will do so and that all processes will be properly handled. Pray against complications or confusions in any of the processes. 

3. As Malawi prepares for elections, pray against violence, defamation of character and all obscenity in the campaign period. Pray that for once the country will have a decent campaign programme. 

4. Pray that God will rescue us from all the forces that have affected the country’s economic progress. Pray for a miraculous turnaround of the economy. 1

. Thank God that these unreached people groups are known by God and He cares that they should not perish.

2. Pray that those who have never heard about Christ will get to hear about Him. Pray that God will start preparing their hearts for transformation.

3. Pray that God will raise up Christian missionaries to this part of the world and that they will have the courage to go.

Saturday 4th January 2025: Praying for Sunday Services

Habakkuk 2:2; Isaiah 54:17; Psalm 133:1-3; John 4:23-24

1. The 2025 theme will be unveiled tomorrow. Pray for clarity as the vision is being shared and pray that we will all understand what God wants us to do in 2025.

2. Pray that the church will be prepared for the 21 days of prayer and fasting. Pray that those that are dreading the period, will be encouraged to participate. Pray against any destructions to those who plan to participate.

3. Pray for anointing on the pastor and all those involved in regulating the services. Pray for unity of purpose in all the workers and pray that they will all be sensitive to the move of the Spirit.

4. Pray that there will be an atmosphere of worship in all the services and that we will all be able to worship in Spirit and in truth, as the Lord commands. Pray that the praise teams will be in tune with the Spirit of God to properly lead the congregation in worship.

5. Pray for God’s protection over all attendees, over all instruments and equipment used in worship. Pray for proper coordination in all the teams and that all their efforts will bring glory to God.
