Praying for Malawi
• Thank the Lord for blessing our nation, Malawi. Remind his faithfulness in protecting us through the years. Thank Him for sparing us from war and for being our refuge in times of adversity, such as cyclones, earthquakes, and social unrests. Thank Him for being our banner and shield.
• Worship the sovereign God in charge of times and seasons. Pray for a season of restoration, peace, and prosperity for Malawi.
• Repent on behalf of the nation and ask the Lord to forgive our sins, including idol worship, bloodshed, witchcraft, lawlessness, dishonesty, corruption, impatience, and theft. Pray for His mercy and cleansing.
• Pray that the Lord will guide our leaders with wisdom, knowledge, and discernment to make decisions that align with His will in these hard times.
• Pray for God’s mercy during this economic crisis. Ask Him to intervene and turn the situation around. Pray for sustainable solutions to Malawi’s challenges, including the fuel crisis, forex shortages, and inflation.
b) Praying for the unreached groups: Matthew 9:38, Psalms 2:10-11

• Thank God for the Christian communities. Pray that the Lord will use them to spread the good news to their unreached neighbors.
• Pray that God will soften hearts and remove barriers to the gospel in the unreached communities of Tanzania. Pray for individuals in these unreached communities who can help share the gospel and for the Holy Spirit to overcome spiritual blindness.
• Pray for more workers to be sent to unreached groups, and for missionaries and local believers to remain faithful, protected, and persistent despite challenges.
• Pray for those sharing the gospel to have cultural understanding and discernment, enabling them to communicate the message effectively while respecting traditions.
