Praying for the Lord to send labourers
- Thanksgiving: giving thanks in all circumstances, for this is Your will for us in Christ Jesus (1 Thessalonians 5:18)
- Thank God for the month of June: Reflect on the goodness and faithfulness of God in the past six months. Thank him for all the good things he has done in our church, nation and families.
- Thank God for the wonderful Sunday we had. Thank Him for the powerful ministration of the word.
- Rescuing the Perishing (John 4:1- 45; Proverbs 24: 11-12, Jude 1: 23; James 5:19-20)
- Show Interest in individual persons: Pray that ICA members will specifically engage with individuals with keen interest to share the gospel with them. Pray against judgemental attitudes that might push people away from engaging with those who are perishing. Pray that the spirit will guide us unto that one person of interest that will cause a chain reaction to the salvation of many more souls.
- Be aware of the urgency of the task: Pray that ICA members we will be aware of the urgency to win souls. Pray that we will always be ready to rescue the perishing souls
- Use the surrounding realities for spiritual truths: Pray that ICA members will be effective by using the present realities of a person to show them the truth of God. Pray for wisdom to use natural realities to paint spiritual truths
- With wisdom, show the persons where they fall short: Pray for wisdom to lead the lead the perishing in understanding where they fall short. Pray that we will not condemn nor reproach those we witness to.
- Pray that ICA members will be effective in witnessing the perishing
- Praying for the Lord to send labourers (Luke 10:2, Luke 4:18, Acts 4:30; 1 Cor. 2:4-5)
- Pray for a fresh anointing to fall upon ICA members to be disciple markers wherever they go. Pray that people will be sensitive to obey the leading of the holy spirit.
- Pray for the development of positive relationships with the people so that the we can build trust and rapport within the community
- Pray for more signs and wonders to follow all believers as they witness, evangelise and make disciples.
- Pray that God will grant boldness in sharing the gospel. Pray for wisdom to tackle hard and challenging questions. Pray that the spirit will grant eloquence to all ICA members to be able to witness even to those we are intimidated by.
