The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and those who dwell therein, for he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers. Psalms 24:1-2.

1. Thank God that He owns everything seen and unseen in the world and that He is in control of the universe. Thank God that heaven is His throne, and the earth is His footstool and that He knows those who are His and looks at them. Praise God for His ways of taking care of His own, ways we can never comprehend. Praise Him because He is able to reveal himself to those who deny and despise Him.
2. Pray for believers caught up in countries where there are wars, natural disasters, terror caused by drug warlords, human trafficking, and many other calamities in many countries across the world. Pray that believers will remain humble and contrite before the Lord and seek salvation from the Lord for themselves and shine the light to those in darkness.
3. Continue to pray for the peace of Israel.
4. Pray for the people of Brazil and Afghanistan, that are affected by floods that have devastated these countries. At least 116 people have died across Brazil and hopes of finding more than 140 people who are still missing are dwindling. Many towns are still cut off by the flood waters.  In Afghanistan, over 300 people are feared dead after flash flooding hit northern Afghanistan, with warnings the toll could rise after further storms across the region. Pray for God’s intervention and that those who have lost their loved ones, homes and source of their livelihoods that the Lord may minister to them and give them hope and peace.
5. Pray for the spread of the Gospel in the 10/40 Window. The 10/40 Window is located from 10 degrees south to 40 degrees north of the equator and has 69 nations across northern Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia in the 10/40 Window. The 10/40 Window is called “The Resistance Belt” because of its stubborn opposition to the Gospel of Christ.
   • Pray for a mighty move of God’s Spirit and a great harvest of souls.  Pray for Christians in the 10/40 Window to stand firm and continue to pray in the Spirit on all occasions.  Pray for God to protect them and empower them to be bold witnesses for Jesus Christ.
   • Pray for God to bring comfort and hope to those who have been victims of terrorism, corruption, lawlessness, and human trafficking.  Pray for groups and leaders responsible for acts of destruction to be quickly brought to justice and for their eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ.
   • Pray for Christians around the world to awaken to the need to devote themselves to pray for the lost, unreached people groups, leaders, governments and our brothers and sisters in the 10/40 Window.
