Praying for Malawi

“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV

1. A national state of disaster has been declared but we know that God is bigger than any troubles our country may face. Pray that God will have mercy on our nation and that we will experience special grace as a country in this season
2. Pray that the hope of Malawians will be revived this year and that God will work a miracle in the hearts and minds of people of this nation
3. Pray for wisdom for our leaders in handling the various issues of our country. Pray that they will make decisions that are beneficial to the current and future citizens of this country
4. Pray for the children and young people in Malawi that God will protect their hearts and minds from the corruption of the enemy

Praying for Unreached People Groups

“For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  Romans 10:13 ESV

1. The democratic Republic of Congo faces a lot of internal turmoil with the ongoing war and its effects. Pray for the people of this country to experience the peace of God that comes with the gospel.
2. Pray for all the missionaries working in these people groups of Congo to have a special grace and anointing for signs and wonders that will convict many and lead them to Christ
3. Pray against the stronghold of ethnic religions and occultism in these people groups. Pray that any demonic powers or principalities that have been working in these ethnic groups will be paralyzed, and that the gospel will be able to penetrate these groups.
4. Pray that the Christianity that is lived out in this groups will not be mixed with ethnic or cultural practices that do not align with the word of God
