Praying for Malawi
Praying for Malawi (1 Timothy 2:1,2; Romans 13:1-7)
- Pray for our leaders: Pray that the Lord will guide them into making decisions that are beneficial for the nation.
- Pray that the Lord will continue to expose schemes of theft and corruption and wisdom and integrity to handle the cases.
- Pray for families that were affected by the flash floods in the previous week in the North (Rumphi, Nkhotakota and Dwangwa). Pray for grace, healing and mercy for the families that have lost loved ones.
- Pray against any flooding and cyclones. Pray that we will have peaceful rains not destructive rains.
- Pray that the Lord will graciously grant us with rains. Pray that crops will respond well to the rains and that there will be a bumper harvest despite the dry spells.
- Pray for the peace of God to continue shielding this nation, pray against violence and blood shed.
- Praying for unreached people groups
Psalm 24:1, 7 Matt 9:37-38, 2 Chronicles 7:14 Eph 5:14
- Pray against strongholds that hinder the minds of the tribes from receiving Christ to be pulled down.
- Tear down and smash every stronghold of deception keeping every unsaved in the enemy’s camp, in the name of Jesus. Pray against Islamic strongholds.
- Pray for mega testimonies in these areas that will inspire many to give their lives to Christ. Pray that Christ will appear to people especially Muslims to believe in Jesus.
- Pray that God will raise all resources, (human, financial, technological, etc.), that are required to reach these people with urgency.
- Pray that Christians in this part of Chad will learn to cooperate with the Holy Spirit as He sends them to minister to these people groups especially in the Muslim communities.
