SALVATION OF LILONGWE CITY

THERE ARE TWO ASPECTS TO THESE PRAYERS. PRAYING FOR THE CITY AS A PLACE AND THE PEOPLE.

  1. Father, in the Name of Jesus, I thank You for my city and that I am blessed with the privilege of living here. I thank You that by placing me here, You have assigned me to spiritually steward the place where I live. So today, I rise up and take my place at the right hand of the Father in all spiritual authority.

Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. Joshua 1:3 KJV Ephesians 2:6

  2.  Father in the Name of Jesus we pray, sealing the gates of Lilongwe city from all evil influence, activities, diseases and every ungodly thing that would want to enter in our City.
We declare that the atmosphere in Lilongwe city will be charged with the presence of God.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19  KJV Job 22:28

  3.  Father in the Name of Jesus we pray, binding the strongman ruling the city of Lilongwe.
We snatch it from the hands of satan and his cohorts and declare deliverance of the city.

No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. Mark 3:27 KJV

  4. Father, according to Zechariah 10:1, I pray that You would send forth spiritual rain to my city. Let an outpouring of the Holy Spirit fall on this place and overcome any evil forces operating against it in Jesus Name.

Ask ye of the LORD rain in the time of the latter rain; so the LORD shall make bright clouds, and give them showers of rain, to every one grass in the field. Zechariah 10:1 KJV

  5. Father, in the Name of Jesus, I curse every wicked spirit operating against this city right now and command every demon to flee from Lilongwe city .

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded James 4:8 KJV

  6. Father, as the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, we are claiming this city and declare that no weapon formed against it will prosper. Every tongue that rises against this city will be rendered useless and ineffective in Jesus Name. Z

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. 2 Corinthians 5:21 KJV Isaiah 54:17

  7. Father, in the Name of Jesus, we declare that this is a godly city and righteousness prevails. We command the spirits of poverty, violence, anger, hate, witchcraft, atheism, lying, sexual immorality and all other wrong spirits to leave in Jesus Name.

And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; Mark 16:17 KJV

  8. Father, in the Name of Jesus we bind every foul spirit that is affecting this city and command them to stop in their maneuvers, and cease and desist in their actions now.

Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matthew 18:18 KJV

  9. We plead the blood of Jesus around this city and declare angels are encamped around us here according to Psalm 91.

  10. Father, in the Name of Jesus we pray for every leader in this city according to 1 Timothy 2:1-4—the mayor, the city council, the SPC, PSs, the State House, the Parliament and all others in authority.  We pray for their salvation and that they would rule justly and with godly wisdom. We bind satan from operating over the political scene of this city and command him to take his hands off our city’s government, economy and social scene right now in Jesus’ mighty Name.S

  11. Father, we ask You, Lord of the harvest, to send forth labourers to every neighborhood. We pray that Your light will shine throughout every neighborhood, school, shopping centre and church etc and that many will receive Christ in the Mighty Name of Jesus.

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.Matthew 9:37‭-‬38 KJV
  12. Father, in the Name of Jesus, we pray that you will make   the gospel to permeate every part of this city and break through every area of darkness.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7‭-‬8 KJV
  13. Father, thank You for raining  revival in this city.

We also pray for physical rains to cover upon  the whole country resulting in bumper harvest  in Jesus Name.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: Isaiah 55:10 KJV

  14. Father, we have asked all these things in faith, knowing that Your Word says that whatever we ask for in prayer , we should believe that we have it and we shall have it.  Mark 11.24
