Colossians 1:9-14

For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light. For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His Beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

1. Thank God for rescuing us from the domain of darkness; no one can do it for him/herself. Pray for those that are trying to rescue themselves, that they will realize that it is only Christ that can rescue them. Pray that they will humble themselves to accept God’s salvation.
2. Thank God that those rescued from darkness are transferred to the kingdom of God’s Beloved Son to enjoy redemption and forgiveness of sins and get qualified to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.
3. Paul always prayed for those that had been rescued, to be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Pray that we will be this vigilant to pray for those that are getting saved. Pray that home cells will embrace this responsibility, while understanding how critical this is to church growth.
4. Those rescued from darkness are supposed to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, and to please Him in all respects. Pray that every ICA member will be conscious of how they walk and if they are pleasing the Lord in all respects.
5. Those transferred to the Kingdom of light are supposed to bear fruit in every good work and increase in the knowledge of God. Pray that our cell leaders will start strategizing on how this will become reality among their members. Pray that ICA will be identified with good works and increased knowledge of God, wherever we have been placed.
