Worship and thanksgiving: Psalm 118:1-10

O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever. Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth for ever. I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place. The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The Lord taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes. All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them

• Worship and praise the Lord our  redeemer and the lifter of our souls
• Worship him by declaring the good things he has done for you (personally, in your family, in our church and in our nation and in this world)
• Worship the God who makes our souls strong and bold in the seasons of life. He alone is our strength and hope.
• Thank the Lord for the powerful Sunday service. (Thank the Lord for using our pastor so mightily to preach with boldness and power). Thank God for all who took part in the service, convener, praise team and the protocol team. Thank God for everyone who came to the service and those who gave their lives to Jesus during the service.
