Praying for Malawi
- Thank God for Malawi and all the believers that have been celebrating Pentecost in Malawi. Thank God for the outpouring of his Spirit upon Malawi and the revival that is taking place. Pray that as Malawians we will truly make the Lord, the God of our nation and practically be the warm heart of Africa we profess to be.
- Pray that believers from all denominations in Malawi will partner with the Holy Spirit to reach out to those who have not yet heard the gospel. Pray that all people groups in Malawi will hear the gospel and stand in awe of God.
- Pray for personal transformation of believers in Malawi by the work of the Holy Spirit. Pray that this will translate into characters and behaviours that are fashioned by God Himself. Pray we will develop God fearing mindsets that are patriotic and willing to take responsibility in developing Malawi. Pray that as Malawians, we will hearken to the counsel of the Lord and prosper across generations.
- Thank God for all development programs that are ongoing in Malawi, with support from Government, NGOs and development partners. Pray that these development programs will be successful and that they will bring about transformation in people’s livelihoods.
- Thank God for Malawi Agenda 2063 and the first ten years implementation plan (MIP1). Pray that this agenda and plans will not be another good agenda and set of plans gathering dust on the shelf. Pray that Malawian leaders and citizens will be familiar with the agenda and plans and be committed to implement them.
- Pray against laziness and any destructive behaviours that undo development efforts. Pray that by implementing Mw Agenda 2063, Malawi will truly grow towards a middle-income country.
Praying for all People Groups & Unreached People Groups of Congo-DRC – Mat 29:19-20; Luke 10:2
Thank God for the people of Congo-DRC who have professed Christ as Saviour. Pray that these will remain unmovable whatever happens to them.
Pray that those that have never heard the word of God will have the privilege to hear it this year and that those who hear will not harden their hearts.
Pray that the church will understand the need for urgency in rescuing people from the kingdom of darkness to the Kingdom of light. Pray that willing workers and all necessary resources will be available for this work.
