Praise and Worship in Celebration of Pentecost
- Praise and worship God for His attributes articulated in Psalms 145:1-21. He is our God and King, and greatly to be praised, His greatness is unsearchable. Worship the glorious splendour of His majesty, and His wondrous works, His awesome deeds, His greatness; His abundant goodness, His righteousness.
- God is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love. He is good to all, and His mercy is over all that He has made.
- Worship Him for His mighty deeds, His glorious splendour of His everlasting Kingdom, His dominion endures throughout all generations, He is faithful in all his words, and kind in all His works. He upholds all who are falling and and raises up all who are bowed down. He gives them their food in due season. He satisfies the desire of every living thing.
- He is righteous in all His ways; He is near to all who call on Him in truth. He fulfils the desire of those who fear Him; He hears their cries and saves them. He preserves all who love Him.
- Thank God for Pentecost and for sending us the Holy Spirit to teach, counsel and comfort us. Celebrate that we have been filled with the power of the Holy Spirit and the commitment of the Spirit Himself to walk with us through and through.
- Thank God for the power we have received and will continue to be refilled with through the Holy Spirit - the power to be His witnesses from where we are to the end of the world.
- Thank God for the fruit of the Spirit that gives us the character we need to be God’s witnesses. Thank God for the gifts of the Holy Spirit that are available to enable us to demonstrate the power of God as we spread the good news.
