Praying for World Situations
- Many people across the world have been displaced by wars (in Sudan, Ukraine, DRC and other countries), natural disasters (floods in Rwanda, DRC, Uganda; wildfires in parts of Europe and North America), gang operations (several countries in Latin America) and so many other mishaps. Pray for such displaced people and immigrants that they are protected and be given the support that they need by humanitarian workers and affected governments.
- Pray that these people that are suffering and in agony due to the mishaps in the world will turn to the Lord for salvation. Pray that they realise that the Lord is near, and He can be called upon even in such times. Pray for miraculous encounters with Jesus and salvation.
- Pray for all humanitarian organisations such as World Food Program, Red Cross, Red Crescent, World Vision that are mobilizing resources for victims of disasters, war and other calamities. Pray that nations and organisatioms will be moved to support such organizations and that all resources are used for intended purposes andÂ
- Pray for world leaders, presidents and leaders in international organisations that they see their jobs/positions as a service to God and the communities. Pray that these leaders will use their positions, authority and power well. Pray against abuse of power and against decisions made out of greed that often cause divisions and power struggles that lead to war, insurgents, etc.
