Praying for Sunday Service
- Thank God that it is the day of the Lord made for our rejoicing. Pray that the Spirit of joy will reign in the sanctuary and that all despair will be exchanged for the joy of the Lord.
- Pray that despite the cold season setting in, church attendance will not be affected. Pray that members will determine to be punctual and that God will graciously honor that commitment.
- The Youth praise team will be ministering. Pray for their preparation and pray that they will depend on God’s leading throughout the praise and worship session. Pray for increased sensitivity to God in all the decisions they make.
- Holy communion will be served. Pray that every congregant who partakes of the communion will do so with seriousness and that God will minister to them speedy healing in every aspect of their lives.
- Pray for the pastors as they minister the word of God, that they will do it under the power of God. Pray that everyone will hear the word clearly. Pray against misunderstanding, misconceptions, misinterpretation of the word.
- Pray that there will be opportunity for people to be saved through all the avenues that will be used to present the word.
- Pray for clear airwaves, functional equipment, well prepared media team, jovial protocol teams and well organized church workers, all to the glory of God.
