2. Pray thanking the Lord for the coordinated ministration by all units and servants involved in all services that facilitated the divine presence and an atmosphere of Worship.
3. Thank God for our Pastors and the preaching of the Word of God that came with power, clarity, assurance and conviction to transformation. Thank God for those that received Jesus Christ as their Lord and saviour during the service (in church and online/by radio/TV)
Sermon-based prayer points
1. Pray that God will restore deep hunger for the Scriptures in every ICA member and that His Word that brings utmost transformation will regain full authority in every member, family, church and in the nation of Malawi. Isaiah 66:2 (KJV) “…but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.” Psalm 119:130 (KJV) “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.”
2. Pray that as ICA we will be faithful in the exposition of Scriptures and that we will be led to Godly understanding, conviction, repentance, and genuine transformation. 2 Corinthians 7:10 (KJV) “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.”
3. Pray that as ICA and the Malawi nation, we will have the grace and be intentional to be doers of the Word, and for leaders to model obedience that impacts society. James 1:22 (KJV) “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” Nehemiah 8:10 (KJV) “…for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
4. Pray that every ICA member and as a church, we will have strength and commitment to fulfill the Great Commission through teaching and discipleship. Pray that we will overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God in faith every challenge that arise as we witness Christ Matthew 28:19–20 (KJV) “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
