Praying for Sunrise Ministries

“And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. Colossians 1:9–10

1. Thank God for Sunrise Ministries, its mission, and its impact in communities; pray that the ministry will continually be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Ask that the vision be sustained, that the Board and Secretariat be Spirit-led and fruitful in every good work, and that God will graciously provide all the resources needed for the continued growth and effectiveness of the ministry.

2. Pray for the school, that it will continue to grow and operate in a manner worthy of the Lord, producing responsible, God-fearing citizens who excel in every profession into which God leads them, bearing fruit in character, knowledge, and service to society.

3. Pray for Sunrise Health Services, that they will operate with spiritual wisdom, compassion, and excellence in serving people. Pray that workers and volunteers will understand the deeper vision of the ministry, serve selflessly beyond personal benefit, and bear lasting fruit through their service.

4. Pray for all community outreach programs, including income-generation initiatives, that they will bear tangible fruit in uplifting people out of poverty. As physical needs are met, pray that many will come to know Christ as their ultimate hope, growing in the knowledge of God and experiencing both transformed lives and eternal salvation.

Praying for Pastors Dr Enson & Mama Christine Lwesya

“We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labour of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 1:2–3 (ESV)

1. Thank God for Rev. Dr. Enson Lwesya and Pastor Christine Lwesya for their ministry at ICA, across Malawi and around the globe. Thank God for the influence He has given them and for how He has used them, is using them, and will continue to use them to impact lives through their work of faith and labour of love.

2. Pray that God will continue to sustain them and guide them as they advance in their ministry. Pray for continued clarity of vision and consistent alignment with the will of God. Pray that their leadership remains rooted in faith, motivated by love, and anchored in the hope of Christ.

3. As ICA grows and the work increases, pray that they are able to consistently identify and connect with their destiny helpers and faithful co-labourers, so they can effectively deliver the vision and take ICA in the direction directed by the Lord Himself.

4. Pray that God continues to supply all their needs according to His riches in glory. Pray that both personal and ministry needs are met. Pray for divine providence, protection, good health, and peace on every side for them, their family members, and their relatives, as they continue steadfast in hope while labouring in love for the Lord.
