Praying for Malawi
- Thank God for Easter Celebrations in the country and for the fine weather that enabled us to carry out various programmes. Pray that all the declarations we made in prayer regarding Malawi will come to pass.
- Malawi began its financial year on 1st April 2023. Pray for prudence in the implementation of the budget and pray that the Minister of Finance and all the managers of our economy will be led by the Spirit of God as they play their various roles.
- Some parts of the country have started harvesting their crops. Pray that the crops will be protected from thieves and that there will be no post-harvest losses at all levels. Pray that despite the cyclone damages the country will have food for its citizenry.
- With the rains subsiding there is resumption of road construction. Commit all the construction works to God so that there will be speed in execution and that all the resources will be used as planned.
- Efforts to bring relief to cyclone victims continue. Pray that the efforts will not be in vain but will help citizens to bounce back in all aspects of their lives.
Pray that the people of Cameroon will understand the grace of God that is at work and will ensure that all the gains made through the preaching of Christ will be maintained.
Pray that those that have never heard the word of God will have the privilege to hear it this year and that those who hear will not procrastinate their decision to follow Jesus.
Pray that the church will be committed to setting apart resources for missions so that many will go out to preach the word. Pray against any kind of opposition that may arise to frustrate these efforts.
