Praying for Malawi
Isaiah 41:17-20When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue is parched with thirst, I the LORD will answer them; I the God of Israel will not forsake them. 18 I will open rivers on the bare heights, and fountains in the midst of the valleys. I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. 19 I will put in the wilderness the cedar, the acacia, the myrtle, and the olive. I will set in the desert the cypress, the plane and the pine together, 20 that they may see and know, may consider and understand together, that the hand of the LORD has done this, the Holy One of Israel has created it.
1. Pray that despite fuel price increases, Malawi will still prosper because God is able to make a way for us where there seems to be no way.
2. Pray that the God in charge of seasons will make all the rain that falls on Malawi land to be productive and bring forth harvests that will meet the food security needs of the land.
3. Thank God for all the farmers that have planted various crops. Pray that they will have all the resources they need to contribute to the bumper harvests Malawi is destined to have this year.
4. Pray against any disasters occurring in Malawi this year. Pray that the God who commands winds and storms to be still, will do the same for Malawi.
Praying for People Groups of Burkina Faso
Acts 17:26-2726 And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, 27 that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us,
1. God determined the boundaries in Burkina Faso and allotted the periods for these people groups. Pray that the purposes for which He did this will be accomplished.
2. Pray that these people groups will seek God and find Him because God is not far from them. Pray that they will discover that God is near.
3. Pray that those that God has assigned to evangelize Burkina Faso, will hear the call and respond accordingly.
