Thanksgiving

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (KJV)

a) Thank God for the great moment in His Presence on Sunday. The message, “Stay Focused” was re-assuring of God’s commitment to His Word.

Sermon-Based Prayer – “Stay Focused”

Habakuk 2:2 - 3 “Write the vision …Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come.”

1. Prayer for clarity, focus, and faith to hold onto the vision:

Pray that God will help us (ICA) to clearly understand our vision and to remain focused and patient until it is fulfilled.

“Write the vision, and make it plain… though it tarry, wait for it.” (Habakkuk 2:2–3, KJV)

2. Prayer for faithfulness and endurance through delays, pain, and opposition: Pray that God will give us grace to remain faithful in every season, trusting that our harvest is delayed but not denied.

“He that endureth to the end shall be saved.” (Matthew 24:13, KJV)

3. Prayer for discernment to resist distractions and press on in purpose: Pray asking God to strengthen us to resist distractions and compromise, and to stay committed to the work that God has assigned to us.

“I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down.” (Nehemiah 6:3, KJV)

4. Prayer for perseverance to the end and confidence in the coming harvest: Pray asking God to renew our strength to press forward with endurance until the harvest is fully realized.

“Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9, KJV)

Special prayer for Christmas: Pray that hearts and souls will be saved during Christmas and that the blood of Christ will provide a covering of protection and mercy for all from all wicked principalities and accidents.
