WHEN VISIONS FACE OPPOSITIONS
Thanksgiving
Psalm 145:1-4
I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. 2 Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. 3 Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. 4 One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.
1. Thank God for the beautiful Sunday services we had and for the way God ministered to us.
2. Thank God for Royal Rangers Day and the ministry by the children in church. Thank God for the impact the ministry continues to have at ICA.
3. Thank God for the presentation by the Teens church and the talents that are emerging.
Prayer
Nehemiah 4:1, 14
When Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became angry and was greatly incensed. He ridiculed the Jews, ……. 14 After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, “Don’t be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”
1. When your vision faces opposition ….. Pray that ICA members will remember to take their vision challenges to the Lord. Pray for those struggling now that God will inform them of how to navigate their situations.
2. If there are any ICA members that are wanting to quit their visions because of ridicule, pray that they will understand that God given visions often face mockery and they will not allow any ridicule to cast doubt on the credibility of their visions.
3. Vision that is prayed over cannot be destroyed by man. Pray that as we cast our visions for 2026 we will give prayer its rightful place and we will be constantly alert to stand against any opposition.
4. Pray that as we execute our visions we will be careful to avoid internal discouragements; pray that we will strategize on giving the right care to the vision implementers.
5. God given visions are worth fighting for. Pray that ICA members will be ready and determined to fight for their God given visions, regardless of the level of opposition.
Praying for Teens Fest
Isaiah 55:10
10 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
1. Pray for an impactful festival. Pray that this festival will put these teenagers on a trajectory for success and that many should know the Lord through this event.
2. Pray that the event will be a turning point for many teens and the church will become “attractive” for them. They will desire to stay in the community of believers and know Jesus better.
