PULLING DOWN STRONGHOLDS IN LILONGWE CITY

2 Corinthians 10:4

“The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.”

Ezekiel 8:6

6 “Son of man,” he said, “do you see what they are doing? Do you see the detestable sins the people of Israel are committing to drive me from my Temple? But come, and you will see even more detestable sins than these!”

2 Timothy 3:5

5 They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!

Philippians 2:9–11

9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

1. Stand in the gap to renounce all evil altars and covenants that oppose God’s kingdom in Lilongwe City.

2. Pull down the spirit of pride, corruption, and injustice that influence leadership and institutions.

3. Break the power of religious lukewarmness and call for true revival across every congregation. Pray that we will experience revival of every dead thing in our lives, during the Urban Missions Conference.

4. Disarm the spirits of division and competition among churches that weaken the Body’s witness.

5. Bind the spirit of poverty and dependency that limits the Church’s impact in the city. Pray that we will have every resource we need to run the Urban Missions Conference.

6. Declare the Lordship of Jesus over Lilongwe City— over every gate, sector, and institution — that every knee shall bow.
