Praying for Street Cleaning, Tract Distribution & Street Evangelism – Lilongwe City Centre (Urban Missions Evangelism) – 11th October, 2025

Main Prayer Point: Pray that God will go with us and that the events will draw people closer to God, open hearts to the gospel, and bless the community and bring lasting impact.

1. Praying for God’s presence and protection: Pray that the Lord’s presence will go with every member, granting safety, strength, and guidance during the outreach.

Exodus 33:14 – “And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.”

Psalm 91:11 – “For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” (KJV)

2. Praying for open hearts and receptive souls: Ask God to open the hearts of people in Lilongwe City Centre to receive the Gospel message of Christ and be transformed by it.

Acts 16:14 – “And a certain woman named Lydia… whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.” 1

Peter 1:23 – “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” (KJV)

3. Praying for boldness and unity in witnessing Christ: Pray that church members/participants will be bold in sharing the gospel and that they will be able to work together in love and with one spirit.

Acts 4:29 – “And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word.”

Philippians 1:27 – “That ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.” (KJV)

4. Praying for community transformation and revival: Pray that the street cleaning, tract distribution and street evanglism will shine God’s light, bring transformation, and spark revival in the community.

Matthew 5:16 – “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Acts 2:47 – “Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” (KJV).
